Soundtrack “Guns Blazing” from Undertale Yellow

I found a soundtrack named “Guns Blazing” from a fan-made video game Undertale Yellow. I was really impressed by how the soundtrack has its own unique sounds like multiple synths types of drums.

The soundtrack is made for a boss fight scene where the players control a 2d character against a robotic enemy named Axis. I believe that the creator of the soundtrack must’ve thought about what types of sounds will fit the scene and then chose synths, as robots usually gets related to electronics or buzzing noises. Which is very interesting to me, as I think about what sounds to put in a soundtrack to fit a certain atomsphere now, wether it’s about futuristic or ancient.

I found 3 versions of this soundtrack, a instrumental version, a in-game version where the character sings in a monotone robotic voice with the synths and another version where a keyboard and electric guitar player performed the piece together. This version inspired me to discover some more electrical sample libraries for my future pieces related to technology.
