BIFSC AWARDS 2025-by Nicholas Ni

My piece for the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition 2025 using Musescore 3, which is scoring for a 5 minute, science fiction based animated film clip called “The Rise And Fall Of Globosome.”

The animated film clip given tells a story about how orb-like creatures start their civilization and how their planet collapsed. The clip starts with the creatures exploring around the environment, connected with the creatures advancing in technology and ends in the planet going dark and the creatures went extinct.

I made 3 different melodies for the piece, one main theme for the start and end, one theme during the scenes of exploration, one theme for technology advancement and a variation for the main theme during the collapse of the civilization.
