Thank you for visiting. I’m Nicholas Ni, a music composer, pianist, and passionate animal lover based in Singapore.

My journey is shaped by two things that bring me immense joy: music and cats. As a devoted cat lover, I spend much of my time caring for the community cats in my neighborhood. Whether it’s feeding them, looking after their health, or simply offering affection, they’re an important part of my life and often the inspiration behind my creative work.

Music for Cats—and Beyond

I compose music not just about cats, but for them too. Each melody is inspired by their curious personalities, peaceful moments, and the comforting presence they bring. As a classically trained pianist, I’ve had the privilege of winning multiple piano competitions over the years, and continue to compose music in my spare time.

Nature, Animals, and Home

Singapore’s rich biodiversity is something I deeply appreciate. From turtles by the rivers to birds in the gardens, I care about protecting the local environment and the animals we share it with. My commitment to animal welfare extends beyond cats, rooted in a belief that every creature deserves kindness and respect.

Through this website, I hope to share more of my music, stories about the cats I care for, and my thoughts on living harmoniously with the world around us.
